Project Summary

MSMAware is a urban drainage design software developed for Manual Saliran Mesra Alam Malaysia (MSMA)- the Urban Stormwater Management Manual for Malaysia. 
In view of the many changes in computational methods between the first and second editions of MSMA, a tool is developed to help engineers to perform the computations using both editions precisely and to allow comparison be made of their changes quickly. The tool is a urban drainage design software created for MSMA. The software is created by Ir. Dr. Quek Keng Hong- a practising engineer in Malaysia. MSMAware also covers the East Malaysian state of Sarawak where more than a dozen rainfall stations and their temporal patterns are included into the software.

Strategy

The idea behind developing Msmaware is to develop an Application which is capable of handling good amount of traffic, handle huge calculations, permutations & combinations to give the best data. The challenge before our developer is to create an App which is compatible to access at all devices and can be accessed by every engineer/user. 

Visual Design

A well organised and well-structured visual design is a soul of the App. Visual design focuses on the aesthetics of a site and its related materials by strategically implementing images, colours, fonts, and other elements. A successful visual design does not take away from the content on the page or function. Instead, it enhances it by engaging users and helping to build trust and interest in the brand.

In Msmaware App/website, our developers have focused on the basic elements of visual design/graphic design, like lines, Shapes, Colour Palette, Texture, Typology & Forms. Msmaware Software is the result of efficient use of all these elements given above.
